Jim Trueland, CFA, is Portfolio Manager with over 40 years of investment experience. During his career, Jim worked from 1995 to 2000 at The Bank of Butterfield in Bermuda and gained experience managing offshore accounts. When he returned to Canada, he joined Lakeshore Securities, which was founded by his long-time friend, Bill Podolsky. While at Lakeshore, he earned his Portfolio Manager designation and began managing portfolios on a discretionary basis. Jim has a conservative investment philosophy and employs a balance between mature, dividend paying companies and growth stocks in client portfolios. He has strong relationships with his clients and is committed to helping them understand the investment process.
