Mike Lyons, CFA is Portfolio Manager with over 30 year’s experience in the investment industry. After achieving his CA designation with Clarkson Gordon in 1987, Mike worked for four years with The Bank of Bermuda in Hamilton, Bermuda (1988-1992) before returning to Canada and joining Burns Fry as an Investment Executive. In 2005, Mike established Lyons Asset Management Inc. so that he could bring discretionary investment management services to his clients. In 2021, Lakeshore Securities Inc. acquired Lyons Asset Management Inc. and Mike and his team joined Lakeshore, cementing a longstanding informal and very positive association.

Mike is a prudent investor by nature and works well with clients looking for a disciplined, conservative, value-oriented approach to the management of their long-term savings. He does not chase the latest fad or hottest story. Mike manages both equity-only and balanced portfolios, depending on client wishes and circumstances.
